Star-spangled banner

Washington DC. One of Americas most important cities.
I spent this weekend in the nations capital and have to admit
for a moment I really wished that I too were an American.
The city glows patriotism. It makes you want to be a part of
"this big family called the U.S.A!"

I really enjoyed the various museums, the smithsonian has many chapters all equally interesting. There's all these beautiful monuments and the city is extremely clean! Especially when compared to NYC.

I had a nice whiff of culture and a lot of good food.

On top off all that, the weather was like a perfect april spring which made the whole experience even more enjoyable!

Now it's back to Long Island after a great weekend, and school is on!

Who is it?

Hofstra Pride

So, I've been living and learning at Hofstra for a couple of weeks now...
Life has gone back to it's regular routine and it sort of feels like I've always been here...
First weeks where exciting as I went to my first basketball game, saw an Opera and started classes.
Now I'm just sort of in it and doing it and everything's going very well.

This weekend I'll be taking a trip down to DC with a couple of friends.

My classes are all very exciting. Tomorrow I'll be making my first prints for photography. I went down to Jones Beach to take the pictures. My film was kind of over exposed so I had to really work the developping but I seem to have at least a couple of shots that look good so it'll be fun to see.

I'm also presenting my first story for creative writing on friday. And working on my website which, with a little help from a friend, should be done somewhere next week!

Well, I'm off to class now!

Love, Peace and till soon!
